This section applies only if you ask Fairly Made to collect traceability data from your suppliers — a process we call supplier data collection. If you handle traceability yourself, the fields below stay optional.
When supplier data collection is active, Fairly Made needs enough information to contact each supplier and attach their data to the right analysis.
siteEmails
At least one valid contact email (siteEmails) is required on POST /suppliers for every supplier that will be contacted (warehouses excluded). Without it, Fairly Made can't reach the site to launch collection.
Creating purchased items (POST /purchased-items)
- Required references — for the buyer, send exactly one of
buyerIdorbuyerUniqueIdentifier(buyer is required;buyerUniqueIdentifierrequiresbuyerKind=SUPPLIER). For the seller, send exactly one ofsellerIdorsellerUniqueIdentifier(seller is required). For the purchased entity, send exactly one ofitemIdoritemUniqueIdentifier. Full field details are in thePOST /purchased-itemsreference. purchaseOrder— at least onepurchaseOrderis required per purchased item so collection can be launched. If your analysis granularity isn't at purchase-order level, provide a representative PO for the panel covered by that granularity.- Link items through
purchasedItems— only links made viapurchasedItemscount for the analysis. Links made only through used items (usedMaterials,usedComponents,usedProducts, etc.) are not taken into account.
